DESCRIPTION

Protect your lens from scratches, dirt, fingerprints, and saltwater with premium coated Japanese optical glass.

UV light can create a blue colour cast, but our UV Filters cut out 99.6% of ultraviolet light, helping sharpen your image, especially in hazy conditions.

Keep our UV Filter on your lens at all times without affecting your exposure settings. If you drop your camera, our UV Filter may be the difference between replacing a filter and replacing the lens.

All our circular filters come with a protective travel tin case, a recycled cleaning cloth, and recycled plastic-free packaging.

Find your filter size

Search your lens and find the diameter symbol Ø followed by a number (e.g. Ø58 or Ø58mm). This can be found on the front or side of your lens – this magic number is your filter size. Note: Your lens focal length (e.g. 18-55mm) is not your filter size.

Place flat and screw clockwise

Carefully behold lens in one hand and place flat on lens. Gently screw clockwise until just firm. Do not over-tighten – that which goes on must one day come off.

Loosen up

To keep one’s heart young, mind lithe and lens filter safe, we recommend you loosen up now and then. Gently loosen then retighten your filter to avoid any sticky situations.

Our UV Filter doesn’t affect exposure settings so you can boldly shoot wherever your heart desires, safe in the knowledge your lens is now better protected against the elements and UV haze isn’t an issue.

Clean and clear

A great filter that keeps me from having to clean my lenses all the time. The coatings work good if your shooting near a water source (like an ocean) and you get the odd bit of mist come your way. Everything I have gotten from URTH has been dope thus far.
