We stand behind the quality of every product we make. Most Urth products are covered by our Lifetime Guarantee against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.

Certain products have a defined warranty period because their materials, construction, technology or expected service life make lifetime coverage inappropriate. Where this applies, the warranty period will always be clearly stated on the product page.

Regardless of warranty duration, our approach remains the same: if a product has failed because of how it was made, we'll work with you to find a solution.

What’s covered
Our guarantee covers manufacturing-related faults, including:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Workmanship failures
  • Material defects caused during production
  • Defective components

What’s not covered
Our guarantee does not cover damage or deterioration caused by normal use or circumstances outside the manufacturing of the product, including:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Cosmetic ageing, abrasion, fading, dirt or stains
  • Accidental damage
  • Misuse or improper care
  • Damage caused by prolonged exposure to heat, moisture, humidity, chemicals or other environmental conditions outside the product’s intended use or storage conditions
  • Damage caused by airlines, freight providers or other third parties

Making a claim
You can make a warranty claim here. You will need to provide:

  • Your order number or proof of purchase
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photos or video showing the problem

We may ask for additional information or for the product to be returned for assessment.
Proof of original purchase is required, and the Urth Guarantee applies to the original purchaser.

Our guarantee is provided in addition to any rights and remedies you may have under applicable consumer protection laws. Nothing in this guarantee is intended to exclude, restrict or modify rights that cannot legally be excluded, restricted or modified.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Lifetime Guarantee mean automatic replacement?
No. If your claim is approved, we’ll determine the most appropriate solution based on the issue.

Is normal wear and tear covered?
No. Scratches, fading, abrasion and other signs of normal use are not considered manufacturing defects.

What if my product is discontinued?
If the original product or component is no longer available, we may provide an equivalent or appropriate alternative.

What about compatibility with future products?
Unless expressly stated otherwise, the Lifetime Guarantee does not guarantee compatibility with future cameras, lenses, devices, standards or third-party products.

Is delamination covered?
Delamination caused by a defect in materials or manufacturing may be covered under our Urth Guarantee. Delamination or material deterioration caused by prolonged environmental exposure, improper storage, contamination or use outside the product's intended conditions is not considered a manufacturing defect.
