Set mode to Manual (M) or Aperture Priority (A). Set lens to Manual Focus (MF) if there's an AF/MF switch.

Align the red dots on your lens and adapter, and rotate clockwise until locked.

Attach the adapter to your camera as you would a lens, rotating it counter-clockwise until it clicks into place.
Great bit of kit! After a slightly longer delivery to Spain, I took it out for a test run and was very happy to be able to use my old lenses again. Well made, could do with the option of caps and a pouch.
It feels and looks great on my Z50. I am now able to use my old film lenses for my grandpa's old Contax camera. Since the lenses are fully manual there is no downside to having a fully manual adapter such as this one, so it does its job perfectly. The packaging is very nice and everything about it is as eco-friendly as you can get for camera gear.
I had Contax 85mm f1.4 lens for film camera. It’s been stored for ages but couldn’t dispose as this is a legendary beautiful lens. But thanks to Urth’s Yashica to Nikon Z mount converter, I can start to use again fitting on Nikon Z6ii.
